Custom post types is definitely the most sought after feature as a lot of the blogs that I build rely heavily on custom posts and custom post handling, depending on what category the post has been assigned to.

The new features will enable me to quickly and painlessly build simpler, more enjoyable user interfaces for custom data channels and I really can’t wait what my clients will think of the new wordpress experience.

P.S. I am making a small promise to myself to “eventually” add at least a tiny showcase of my favourite creations.

I was one of the few on the station, that were actually enjoying the bit of snow that we were blessed with today. However even in this happy state I could not resist to share some of the fury that everybody at the station were experiencing against the train service providers.

The train that I got on was only delayed by about half an hour, so I can be considered lucky and please don’t think that I’m complaining. Most of the people on the station though, were ranting about their services being canceled, or about having to wait for over an hour to get a train home. The delays were between 60 and 120 minutes (at least according to the loudspeaker).

How can a service that has been running for so many years, that employs “high level professionals” and that prides itself on the level of comfort which they provide to their customers fail so badly at being prepared for the centimetres of snow? It’s hilarious.

Armed with my little Nokia E71, I took the liberty of taking a few pictures of the view that I had while on the platform.

So, having seen the “Severe weather conditions”, what do you have to say about the failure?

It would FLY as a hackintosh, there’s just one problem, the built in network adapter and the sound card simply won’t work. FUCK.

There are simply no mac-ready drivers (kexts or efi strings, dsdt doesn’t help here).

This ruined my day today. I miss my mac(hackintosh) every day at work and now, knowing that it’s not going to work, simply makes me really sad.

Will have to survive with Windows 7 ;(

I love the people in this god forsaken place (I’m not religious at all) and I love the attitude that each and every Londoner brings.

The thing that made me smile today: asda and the B&J ice cream special offer, they are always awesome, this one was “extra special”.

In any case, I wanted to hold a permanent blog for ages and have set up and designed various versions of blogs, however I rarely have the time or the will to keep them updated and they end up being neglected and deleted eventually. Hopefully this will not be the case and I’ll actually stick around with this one.

Stuff I know: without touching the geeky side of things, I design and code web sites from scratch, design print works, play with seo and am addicted to TF2, used to be addicted to cs1.6, but that dropped off after tf2 came out. I work and play on a PC that I built and use my own patched version of Windows XP for games and and Mac OS X for work and general computer use (yes, it’s a hackintosh).

Why do I think there is a point of me blogging? I don’t, really, most of the stuff that I will post was probably already posted by the great bloggers. However, I sometimes come up with ideas that I have not seen on the net yet and I know that some of the stuff will come in very handy to a lot of readers.
